Designer // Artist finding inspiration and beauty in everyday objects and surroundings.

 I'm Vanessa Anderson, a San Diego native, Austin based, who lives with my husband, Jerry, and two furry companions, Kiyomi and Zuko. I graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) as a Fine Arts major with an emphasis in Multimedia. Developing a successful career assisting companies and events in marketing, marketing communications, and design, I ensure that the content and visual solutions have a strong brand presence in tone, and look and feel. I also continue to expand my talents as a self-taught mixed media artist and create custom paintings and pieces on commission. My medium of choice is currently acrylic paint and my distinctive style incorporates texture and vibrant colors in order to bring a tactile and arresting perspective to my pieces. I often incorporate the fundamentals of fine art into my digital designs creating modern graphics with a traditional approach. My main client is a small technologies startup where I create print and digital assets for their internal and external marketing efforts.
